Denver and the Mile High Orchestra was founded in 2000 by trumpet player, vocalist, and arranger Denver Bierman and some like-minded students at Belmont University in Nashville. So the band really is from Nashville, TN and NOT from Denver, CO. Donnie and Nancy are a husband and wife duo who frequently perform as a trio or quartet. I was happy to be a part of their musical world from 2010 through 2013 while living in Spokane, WA.
